Star Wars fans will like this one, especially if your LEGO® city happens to look like Tatooine. Big sets often skimp on minifigs, but that is not the case here. On top of that, there are so many Minifigures and many of them are not available in any other sets. However, the build experience is nostalgic and fun. Averaging this with the design score gives an overall Minifigure rating of 88%.Īt full price, Mos Eisley comes at a fairly average value. Consequently, you get a good number of characters for a set this big. Comparatively, True North Bricks’ average is 170 bricks per fig. In a 3187-piece kit, the brick-to-fig ratio works out to 145 bricks per Minifigure. If we add R2-D2 and the dewback to the character count, there are 22 figurines included with Mos Eisley. I will not go through them all here… but that’s a lot. The only real negative about these characters is that two come with stumpy legs. They have special features that do not allow for printing on both sides of the head. This negates the usual loss of points for lacking double-sided faces in my opinion. Interestingly, nine of them have specially molded heads. Additionally, all characters have front and back torso printing, five characters have double sided faces, and seven have leg printing. Of the 20 characters, nine are unique to this set. In addition, you also get R2-D2 (which counts as a minifig) and a dewback. Fix the problem by muting the entire group chat (you can also do this for individual friends). If you’ve ever been in an active group chat, you've been inundated with notifications for every single message received. The person you're chatting with will automatically get a notification to join you, or you can just keep playing by yourself. Click it, and then you'll be able to select from the long list of available games. There, you should see a games option with a controller icon. Open a chat and tap the More button (four dots) in the toolbar to the left of the text field. You'll also see your transaction history, with the ability to cancel sent requests. You'll then see options to add a new debit card. Open Messenger, then tap the Me/profile button in the menu bar, and select Payments. You'll need to make sure you have a payment card setup, though. You can also swipe left in this area to change the theme (to, like, a Christmas theme, for instance). Just enter the amount, add a note, and click next/request to send. You can then toggle between pay or request to send or ask for money, respectively. Open a chat with a friend, then tap the More button (four dots) in the toolbar to the left of the text field, and select Payments. For instance, you can easily share music across Apple Music, news stories from the Wall Street Journal, and your favourite pins from Pinterest, along with a whole lot more. That will open two rows, with the bottom row containing applications you can open to easily share with the person in your chat. Open a chat and select the More button (four dots) in the toolbar to the left of the text field. There, you'll be able to select emoji from the choices given besides the default yellow thumbs up. Go to the Messenger home menu that displays all of your chats and click your photo displayed in the top left above the search bar. There, you'll be able to choose from different options besides the default yellow thumbs-up. Scroll down to select emoji from the options. Go to the Messenger home menu that displays all of your chats, and then click your photo displayed in the top left above the search bar. Change the colour on your thumbs-up emoji This works with whatever emoji you have selected for the chat. If you tap that button, you'll send a quick thumbs-up to your friend, but if you hold down on it before releasing, you'll enlarge the thumbs-up and can send that instead. Open a chat with a friend, and then hit the thumbs-up button in the toolbar above the text field. Your friend will get a message asking them to play. From there, long-press on the emoji to open up a new screen where you can shoot hoops. Open a chat with a friend, then find and send them a basketball emoji from your keyboard. Anyway, say what you're too lazy to type, and then lift your finger to automatically send it to the chat. Once you start a message, it'll send when you stop holding the microphone, but you can drag it away to delete it. To send a voice message, simply tap and hold the microphone to the left of the text field on your chat. Sometimes it's just easier to say something rather than typing it up. Tap the nickname, colour, or emoji options to customise the look and theme of the chat. Open a chat with a friend or group, then tap the "i" button at the top of the chat, and you'll see a list of options like mute notifications for a set period, add a nickname, select a colour or emoji for the conversation, and add more people. Open a chat with a friend or group, then tap the name at the top of the chat, and you'll see a list of options that let you do things like mute notifications for a set period of time, add a nickname, select a colour or emoji for the conversation, and add more people. All your friends in the chat will see the new photo. You can then change the photo for the group chat to whatever you want. Open a group chat, then tap the "i" button at the top of the chat, and select the Extra Settings button (three vertical dots) button at the top. You can then change the photo of the group chat by taking a new picture or adding a photo from your camera roll. Open a group chat, then tap the names at the top of the chat, and select the names at the top again. All your friends in the chat will see the new name. You can then change the name of the group chat to whatever you want. Open a group chat, then tap the "i" button at the top of the chat, and select the names at the top. The periodic features of some seizure states. Translation and analysis of a cuneiform text forming part of a Babylonian treatise on epilepsy. In essence, this Review addresses the broad question of why seizures occur when they occur. The potential clinical applications of a knowledge of cycles in epilepsy, including seizure forecasting and chronotherapy, are discussed in the context of the emerging concept of seizure risk. We discuss advances in our understanding of the mechanistic underpinnings of these cycles and highlight the knowledge gaps that remain. Here, we review this evidence, synthesizing data from historical observational studies, modern implanted devices, electronic seizure diaries and laboratory-based animal neurophysiology. Chronic recordings of brain activity in humans and in animals have yielded converging evidence for the existence of cycles of epileptic brain activity that operate over diverse timescales: daily (circadian), multi-day (multidien) and yearly (circannual). Observations that seizures are cyclical date back to antiquity, but recent technological advances have, for the first time, enabled cycles of seizure occurrence to be quantitatively characterized with direct brain recordings. A canonical view holds that seizures, the characteristic sign of epilepsy, occur at random, but, for centuries, humans have looked for patterns of temporal organization in seizure occurrence. Children also have a higher risk of developing attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Controlling seizures as well as possible with medicines appears to be the best way to prevent SUDEP. Possible factors include heart or breathing problems, perhaps related to genetic changes. People who have seizures have a greater risk than the average person of dying suddenly. Sudden unexplained death in epilepsy (SUDEP).Seizures also can result in accidents and drowning if they occur in certain situations, such as while driving or swimming. The motions that occur during frontal lobe seizures sometimes result in injury to the person having the seizure. Call 911 or get medical help right away if you witness someone having a seizure for longer than five minutes. Seizures that last longer than five minutes are medical emergencies. If these seizures continue, they can cause permanent brain damage or death. For this reason, they might provoke a condition in which seizure activity lasts much longer than usual, known as status epilepticus. Frontal lobe seizures tend to occur in clusters. To channel de la Cruz’s confidence, magnetism, and swagger, Bratt said he drew inspiration from his own father, Peter Bratt Sr. Gentlemen who were as well known for their beautiful singing ability as they were for their star-making roles in films.” Benjamin Bratt Also Took Inspiration From His Own Dad “Guys who were as popular and talented as Frank Sinatra in their day. “The filmmakers pointed me in the right direction by suggesting that I watch old film clips of equivalent stars from Mexican cinema like Jorge Negrete and Pedro Infante,” Bratt told in a 2017 interview. In fact, Bratt has said de la Cruz’s character was not based on one real person but heavily inspired by two popular Mexican musicians named Pedro Infante and Jorge Negrete. While making an authentically Mexican movie was one of the main goals behind Coco, leading producers to hire Mexican voice actors and highlight a number of different aspects of Mexican culture and customs, the film’s characters are not necessarily real people. Pixar But Was Ernesto de la Cruz A Real Person?.Before we learn more about him and how complex he actually is, it’s fun to kind of watch him run the room.”ĭisney “This is a guy who, within the story of the film, thrives on the adulation and attention that he gets,” Bratt said. Once the most famous singer and musician in all of Mexico, de la Cruz has only become even more famous in the afterlife. “He had natural magnetism and a whole lot of swagger,” Bratt told in a 2017 interview. Who Is Ernesto de la Cruz In Coco?īenjamin Bratt, the actor who voiced de la Cruz in Coco, has described him as the type of person who comes off as being larger than life. One year on Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), Miguel accidentally transports himself to the Land of the Dead, where he decides to seek out de la Cruz, who he believes to be his great-great-grandfather. Produced by Pixar and released by Walt Disney Pictures, Coco tells the story of 12-year-old Miguel, a boy from Mexico who, despite his family’s ban on music, dreams of becoming a musician as famous as his idol de la Cruz. While he doesn't have a real-life namesake, this Mexican musician does have roots in reality. But fans may be wondering if one character in particular, Ernesto de la Cruz, is based on a real person. Part of what makes the musical feature so beloved are the captivating characters it introduces. With a number of fantastic musical numbers and an imaginative animation style heavy with bright colors, the Disney Pixar film Coco has been delighting and inspiring audiences of all ages since its initial release in 2017. How should I approach my work history section if this is the first job I am applying for? How can I make use of the correct keywords in my resume? What skills should be emphasized in your resume for a bartender position? Stick to a straightforward layout, and concentrate on the most important thing in your resume: your information. You might think a flashy font or unusual layout will help you stand out from the crowd, but don’t increase the chances of hiring managers missing out on important information because they’re distracted by a visual flourish. DON’T use fancy fonts or resume designs The last thing you want to do is confuse recruiters or applicant tracking systems ( ATS) that many employers use to scan your resume.Keep your resume short and to the point, limiting your work history section to 10 years at most, and only mentioning practical skills and accomplishments that are specific to being a bartender. Don’t waste employers’ time with information that is unrelated to bartending. DON’T make your resume too long Brevity is the soul of wit - it’s also good advice for resume writing. When putting together your skills list, be sure to include soft skills such as time management, being a team player, dedication, a good work ethic, and the ability to learn new processes quickly. DON’T forget to mention soft skills relevant to the job you are applying for The food-service industry requires practical skills and manual work, but also requires the ability to work well with others and interact professionally with customers. For example, instead of saying “I am an experienced bartender and wine specialist,” make your resume more strongly-worded by writing “Highly-experienced bartender and wine specialist.” Make use of action verbs instead of “I” and “we” to give your resume a professional edge. DO eliminate first-person pronouns Avoid the use of first-person pronouns while building your resume. Also take the time to make sure all the information you present is accurate, and addresses the requirements of a bartender job. Run a spell-checker on your resume, and review it carefully to pick out any grammar or punctuation errors. DO proofread your resume before submitting it Just as a bartender is expected to not mess up an order, don’t mess up your resume with easily fixable mistakes. For instance, instead of stating “served many guests and customers drinks at a winery,” make a quantified statement such as “Served over 100 customers per day at an urban winery.” DO quantify your accomplishments to give them more impact Highlight your work achievements with numbers that show your effectiveness, rather than vague statements.Make sure you check if you need such a license, and include it in your resume after you’ve attained it, as well as any extra courses or certifications you’ve taken that tie in with bartending work (e.g., a bartender certification or a mixology course). A bartending position usually doesn’t require specialized qualifications or certifications, but may require a bartending license, which varies from state to state. Education Feature your highest education credential (e.g., a high school or college diploma) as well as date of graduation. For example, stress your exemplary customer service at a previous telemarketing job, rather than your knowledge of different phone systems. Work history Focus on work experience from the past 10 years, and highlight aspects of previous jobs that speak to how well you can perform as a bartender.Emphasize job-specific abilities such as expediting drink orders, complying with food and beverage regulations, and knowledge of drinks and mixology, as well as intangible skills such as a customer-focused approach, a strong work ethic and teamwork. Skills Put together a blend of practical and soft skills that are specific to the bartender position. For example: “Efficient bartender with 2 years’ experience running bar areas, providing great customer service and keeping work areas organized, stocked and clean.” Summary Encapsulate your past experiences and industry-specific skills in a few short sentences.Download a personalized cover letter in minutes with our cover letter builder. Nausea is the most common symptom of motion sickness. What are the symptoms of motion sickness? And your children are twice as likely to get motion sick if you get it. You’re much more likely to feel motion sick if your parents or siblings get motion sickness. Genetically prone to motion sickness: Like your height or eye color, your susceptibility for motion sickness is genetic. Prone to migraines or vertigo: People who experience migraines or vertigo more easily feel motion sickness, as are people with Meniere’s disease. Less active: People who are more physically active are less likely to develop motion sickness - another great reason to add movement into your daily routine. This also may explain why people going through menopause also have a higher risk of feeling motion sick. Pregnant: Like morning sickness, you're at higher risk for motion sickness during pregnancy because of hormone changes. As you get older, you're less likely to feel motion sickness. But children, teens, and young adults are most susceptible to motion sickness. Younger: Toddlers and infants don’t get motion sick. People are also more likely to feel motion sick if they're: Only 1% of people feel sick on trains and planes. About 25% of people on cruise ships report motion sickness.Ĭar sickness is the second most common type. Seasickness is the most common type of motion sickness. Your risk of feeling motion sickness goes up depending on the type of movement: Why does motion sickness happen to some people but not everybody?Īnyone can experience motion sickness, but some people need more of a trigger than others. The end result is that you feel motion sickness. In these situations, your brain gets confused and doesn’t know how to respond. Or you might be still, but it looks like things are moving around you (like in a simulation ride or virtual-reality game). Other times you might be moving even though the environment around you looks like it’s not moving (like in the cabin of a boat or plane). But sometimes you might be still while the environment around you moves (like in a car). Normally, if you move, the environment around you changes. To figure out if you’re moving and how to respond, your brain depends on input from your eyes, inner ear, and your body’s position. Motion sickness happens when your brain gets conflicting information about how you’re moving. This recipe makes plenty of chicken to save or can be easily doubled, and it can be frozen for future snacks! Allow the cooked chicken to cool completely and spread the pieces into an even layer onto a baking sheet (this keeps them from sticking together). Popcorn chicken is more like a bite-sized version of chicken tenders, made from sliced meat rather than ground. Not quite! Chicken nuggets are generally made from ground chicken that is breaded and deep fried. This recipe also calls for tender boneless skinless chicken breasts, however, the same amount of boneless skinless chicken thighs can be substituted for those who like dark meat! What part of the chicken is popcorn chicken?įast food chains and many other companies use small pieces of all-white breast meat. After giving the chicken a nice “shake n bake” tumble in a zip-top bag, it is ready to jump in some hot oil! The all-purpose flour gives the fried chicken a golden hue while cornstarch is the key to a crispy coating. The dry ingredients are spiced up with a couple tablespoons of Ree Drummond’s favorite seasoning salt to cut down on the ingredient list, and a little mustard powder, extra black pepper, and ground thyme bring even more nostalgic flavor. Popcorn chicken is made similarly to classic southern fried chicken. A mixture of tenderizing buttermilk, egg, hot sauce, and salt seasons the meat, but it also cuts out the tedious task of individually dunking the chicken in a three-part breading station. They would make great leftovers heated up and tossed in orange chicken sauce, sprinkled on a green salad, on top of waffles, or served, like traditional fried chicken, over a bed of creamy mashed potatoes. Made famous by the fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken, these bites knock that version out of the park! Edge SupportĮdge support refers to the level of support around the perimeter of the mattress-essentially, do you feel like you’re going to fall off when you lie there? The Nectar Hybrid has reinforced edges, which makes for great edge support. If you’re looking for an actively cooling mattress, check out the best cooling mattresses. The coil layer provides a decent amount of airflow that should keep you from sleeping hot. The mattress cover is cool to the touch, but that cooling sensation doesn’t last all night long. I wouldn’t call the Nectar Hybrid a cooling mattress, but I wouldn’t say it sleeps hot either-it lands somewhere in the middle. Nectar Hybrid Mattress Performance Is the Nectar Hybrid Mattress Cooling? It may take some work but those who prefer to switch between their backs and stomachs will feel the most comfortable. The Nectar Hybrid isn’t terribly responsive for lightweight, average-weight, or heavyweight sleepers. The best mattresses for combination sleepers are bouncy, responsive, and easy to move around on. On the other hand, heavyweight stomach sleepers may want to search for a firmer bed anything on our best mattresses for stomach sleepers list will fit the bill. The Nectar Hybrid will be firm enough to help keep lightweight and average-weight stomach sleepers comfortable and aligned. Side sleepers looking for a better option should check out our list of the best mattresses for side sleepers. Heavyweight side sleepers won’t see the best alignment and will also have pressure issues on the Nectar. Light and average-weight side sleepers should find good alignment on the Nectar Hybrid, but will see pressure issues in the shoulders. The spine should also be in a straight line to help prevent back pain. Side sleepers need a mattress that hugs the hips and shoulders, helping to keep them pressure-free. Average and heavyweight should find comfort and alignment on the mattress. The Nectar Hybrid may be too firm for comfort to lightweight back sleepers, but it’ll help keep you aligned. The best mattresses for back sleepers hug your spine, but keep it in neutral alignment, which helps to prevent back pain. What Sleeping Position Is Nectar Hybrid Mattress Best For? Body Type:ġ = Very poor 2 = Not good 3 = Fair 4 = Good 5 = Excellent Back Sleepers The coils inside the hybrid make it feel extremely bouncy, so it’ll be very easy to move around on. It only hugs around the parts of your body that make an impression, like the hips and shoulders. It feels more like a polyfoam mattress: firmer with an elevating feeling. With a memory foam hybrid mattress, like Nectar, you would expect it to conform easily to your body, but that wasn’t the case. A medium-firm mattress works best for back and stomach sleepers because it keeps them better aligned than a softer bed. The Nectar Hybrid is 6.5/10 on our scale, or medium-firm. The Mattress Nerd firmness scale ranges from 1–10, with 10 being the firmest. Nectar Hybrid Mattress Firmness and Feel Nectar Hybrid Mattress Firmness |
